Your Authorised BMW Service Centre takes good care of you and your BMW. BMW replaced rigid maintenance intervals with a customised service in 1982. Sensors and specific algorithms monitor the different operating conditions of your BMW. The Condition Based Service (CBS) determines the current and future maintenance requirements of your vehicle. The system allows you to adjust the scope of maintenance to your personal needs.

Use the Control Display to view remaining mileages and times for selected maintenance requirements including any legally required due dates:

• Engine oil
• Brake pads: front and rear individually
• Brake fluid
• Vehicle Check
• Legally required inspections according to country regulations
• Diesel particle filter

You are always informed ahead of time when your next service is due.

Have a look at the Control Display to find out which service you need, for example, engine oil, brake pads, etc. In addition, your vehicle continuously saves all maintenance requirement information during your journey in the remote control (vehicle key). Your Authorised BMW Service Centre can simply read the data from your remote control and make you an offer that includes the scope of maintenance that is best for you.

Inspection prices depend on the condition of your BMW. Book an appointment with your preferred Authorised BMW Service Centre and ask for an individual offer.

The VIN is your vehicle identification number or chassis number. You can find the vehicle identification number in part 1, section E of your registration certificate. The registration certificate part 1 exists in this form since 2005. Prior to 2005, the VIN was included in the registration papers in section 4.
